Light My World

I am lost.
I tried to find my way through,
But without a light,
I cannot see.
I cannot see life.

I need a miracle.
To recolour this dull life of mine;
To replace this overwhelming darkness;
To light my world.

Ok that was weird D: But after my dad's lecture on 'why you need to create meaningful art' and other things combined I feel like I needed to write that and express my lame inner poet o_o

This is my drawing for Improvement-Club's September Switchup Challenge~ ^^
In short, participants were assigned a random artist here on dA and then we had to create a piece inspired by one of the artist's artworks. I was assigned enjuvarue and her painting miracle bubble as the base of inspiration ;w;

I really liked the idea of a 'miracle bubble' which is why I chose this one even if I know other people have used this one too Because my Lin's world is in darkness, and she needs a little miracle to brighten it up <3 Meant to be that her world is just faded colours and monochrome, until she finds a source of light and freedom to colour her world again ;o; Although it doesn't look like a bubble The idea of a 'self-luminous' bubble in enjuvarue's description also played a part in this ^^
